The last of last weekend’s output was this, wherein I took some uncharacteristic vibes and smashed them together with the goal of loosening things up. It’s got bluesier piano than I ever thought I’d produce and I even used some vocal samples which I almost never do, and it’s certainly more “house” than anything else I’ve recorded. Maybe a bit of overkill on the compression and feedback on delays in parts and some whiplash transitions and other unforced errors and quirks but good fun, and I learned some new tricks, so a win.
