Anne Marie and I did a blog for the Whale Embassy weblog today – our first since we got here almost three weeks ago. You can read it on the official Whale Embassy site here.

All in all we had a fantastic day, had I not escaped from Jangsaengpo and Ulsan and seen some natural beauty this trip to South Korea would have been more than a disappointment.

Ben made it to the top of a maddening and exhausting 45m climb. The view from up there was fantastic
-
There was a bunch of little temples in the caves along the face of the cliff.
-
I saw my first squirrel (no, we don’t have them in Australia)
-
Ben showed off his climbing skills – the guy is good.

Escape from Jangsaengpo! After all the madness and pollution of this place, it made us incredibly happy to escape for a day to the mountains for some rockclimbing with a bunch of very groovy local teachers from Canada, America and some other countries who have adopted us as their friends.
