Today we named our inflatable whale ‘Bruce’ in rememberance of the legendary activist in the Styx Valley who spent more time up in the Global Rescue Station than even Sakyo Noda

Some new members of KFEM visited us this morning for a tour and to ask us lots of questions about the campaign and what not. They said they feel sorry for us having to live here. At times we certainly agree. Steph and Je Jong did a terriffic job of keeping them entertained.

Needless to say, some of us were feeling a bit seedy this morning. Appearances can be deceiving.

Ben managed to demonstrate some pretty funky tricks after a few vodkas.

Steph had been on the 3am-5am night watch the night before, and started to fade.

There was a great deal more pointing throught the night, and blurriness. The compound is looking more and more like some weird mexican restaurant every day.

Tarp Party! Last night we finally added a roof to the compound, providing us with much needed shelter from the sun, and apparently they have some pretty serious typhoons and heavy rain action in June and July. We imagine a roof will come in handy for keeping the crew dry, and for protecting our lovely…

Jutta, being a well disciplined hard-working type, has fit in with the team here really well. Our ‘Whale Graveyard’ is looking pretty swanky with the addition of more whale tails.
