This morning the ‘Petrochemical Estate’ as it’s called, looked like it might be having a few problems. Hold your breath folks. Last night there was a nasty chemical odour quite unlike anything I’d smelt before. It made me feel rather physically sick. Nice neighbourhood, don’t you think?

“Side Dish” (also known as Biscuit and several other things.) He’s a local puppy who appears to have adopted us. I guess this occupation must be the strangest thing he’s seen in a while.

This morning I woke to a blackout – our generator had broken down. Apparently the problem was that we were using low quality fuel (which came from the ship) but now it’s fixed and we’re back online. We’ve done plenty of redecoration in the Whale Embassy today, it’s looking great, photos later.
