No licence to pollute for Hazelwood power station

What: Last ditch attempt to make Premier Bracks see sense on Hazelwood

Where: 1 Treasury Place, Melbourne (Spring st, near top of Collins St)

When: Monday 5 Sept, 8.30-10.30 am

Wear: Black (mourning Bracks’ decision) or a suit if you’d like to be a money shoveller

Hazelwood power station is the most greenhouse polluting power station in the industrialised world. Its past its use by date and yet the Bracks government is about to extend its life until around 2031 by giving the company access to new coal reserves. Such a decision would lock Victorians into a dirty energy future and deny them clean energy jobs, investment and solutions to climate change.
